Half past six in the evening, one man is cooking, the second has the washing machine running, and the front door is shut on both of them. A team that shares a flat lives that way rather than along a corridor. That is what we let in Dortmund: whole furnished apartments, taken by one team from seven nights upwards. A room inside one of them costs €21.40 per night, whether one person or two sleep in it.
One flat, one team, one front door
A whole apartment means the kitchen, the bathroom and the hallway belong to your booking and to nobody else. You tell us how many people are coming and which dates, and we quote the flats that hold them. Beds stay separate singles, and a bathroom with a shower belongs to the flat rather than to the corridor.

Our main house is a residential tower block with fifty furnished apartments on ten floors. Each flat has one to three rooms and measures between 30 and 65 m², each has a balcony, and a lift serves every floor. The building was stripped back and refurbished in 2017 and 2018, it received new wiring and a fire alarm system in 2018, and the façade was renewed in 2020. On the ground floor there is a café and a kiosk that takes parcels, which matters when a delivery of tools arrives while everyone is on site.
The Märkische Straße light rail stop sits 21 m from the entrance and carries the U41 and U47, bus 400 and the night buses NE5 and NE6. Driving without traffic, the main station is 3.2 km and six minutes away, the port at Speicherstraße 4.7 km and nine minutes, and the Großmarkt wholesale market 1.3 km and four minutes.
What a flat costs
Prices are counted per room and night, not per flat, so a team pays for what it actually occupies.

Statutory German VAT is included in each figure. One charge belongs to the flat rather than to the room: the final cleaning of €160.50 per apartment and stay. Two people in one double room for the seven-night minimum pay €149.80 for the beds and €310.30 with that cleaning. Four people in two double rooms for fourteen nights come to €599.20 plus the cleaning, so €759.70 in total. What stands in the apartment
Wi-Fi, a hob, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a coffee machine, crockery and cooking utensils. A washing machine, which is what most crews ask about first. Bed linen already made up, a bathroom with shower, and a desk for the delivery notes. Towels are the item to bring from home. Cleaners work through the flat before each new arrival.
Flats away from the city centre
Not every job is on the B 1. In Eving the house on Evinger Platz stands in the district centre, with the U41 stop Zeche Minister Stein 145 m away and a ten-minute ride to the main station. In the Kreuzviertel the house on Harnackstraße is 1.3 km and three minutes from the exhibition grounds and 1.6 km from the Klinikum Dortmund city hospital. In Persebeck the house on Persebecker Straße sits on the green edge of town, 2.4 km from the A 45 junction Dortmund-Eichlinghofen.
