One flat, one team, one front door
A whole apartment means the kitchen, the bathroom and the hallway belong to your booking and to nobody else. You tell us how many people are coming and which dates, and we quote the flats that hold them. Beds stay separate singles, and a bathroom with a shower belongs to the flat rather than to the corridor.
Sizes and floors at Rheinlanddamm 6
Our main house is a residential tower block with fifty furnished apartments on ten floors. Each flat has one to three rooms and measures between 30 and 65 m², each has a balcony, and a lift serves every floor. The building was stripped back and refurbished in 2017 and 2018, it received new wiring and a fire alarm system in 2018, and the façade was renewed in 2020. On the ground floor there is a café and a kiosk that takes parcels, which matters when a delivery of tools arrives while everyone is on site.
The Märkische Straße light rail stop sits 21 m from the entrance and carries the U41 and U47, bus 400 and the night buses NE5 and NE6. Driving without traffic, the main station is 3.2 km and six minutes away, the port at Speicherstraße 4.7 km and nine minutes, and the Großmarkt wholesale market 1.3 km and four minutes.
What a flat costs
A whole flat is billed by the people in it, from €15 net per person per night. Length of stay, number of people and occupancy move the figure. Offer and invoice are made out to the firm that books.

One charge belongs to the flat rather than to the room: the final cleaning, counted once per apartment and stay, with the amount named in the offer. A crew that fills several flats carries it for each of them, and the offer adds it into one total. Teams of four and upwards staying a month or longer are the case we plan around. What stands in the apartment
Wi-Fi, a hob, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a coffee machine, crockery and cooking utensils. A washing machine, which is what most crews ask about first. Bed linen already made up, a bathroom with shower, and a desk for the delivery notes. Towels are the item to bring from home. Cleaners work through the flat before each new arrival.
Flats away from the city centre
Not every job is on the B 1. In Eving the house on Evinger Platz stands in the district centre, with the U41 stop Zeche Minister Stein 145 m away and a ten-minute ride to the main station. In the Kreuzviertel the house on Harnackstraße is 1.3 km and three minutes from the exhibition grounds and 1.6 km from the Klinikum Dortmund city hospital. In Persebeck the house on Persebecker Straße sits on the green edge of town, 2.4 km from the A 45 junction Dortmund-Eichlinghofen. Frequently asked questions
How many people fit into one apartment?
That follows from the flat and from the rooms you book. An apartment of one to three rooms takes a small team, and we split larger crews over several flats in the same house where we can. The written offer states which flats are held for you.
Is the whole flat ours, or do we share it?
The apartment we quote for is let to your team alone. Kitchen, bathroom and hallway belong to that booking, and nobody else is placed in it. Mixed occupancy only happens if you ask for it.
What does a flat for four people cost?
Four people are invoiced as four, from €15 net per person per night. What you pay depends on how long the crew stays, how many come and how full the flats are. The offer names the flat, the rooms in it and the figure for your dates.
Is the kitchen usable for a real meal?
Yes. There is a hob, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle and a coffee machine, plus crockery, pots and cooking utensils. Food and detergent are the things your people buy themselves.
Does every apartment really have a balcony?
At Rheinlanddamm 6 a balcony belongs to each of the fifty apartments, and the building has a lift. Our other houses differ, so ask when you enquire and we will say what the flat on offer has.
Can we keep a flat for several months?
Assignments of a month or longer are the everyday case here, and the shortest booking is seven nights. Projects that run for months are quoted to the firm as a monthly rate in the offer. Extending depends on the flat staying free afterwards.
Do you also let to private individuals?
No. Our flats are booked by companies for staff who are working on an assignment in Dortmund. We do not let them as a home to live in.
